Rev.Mrs Rosemary Ohio-Ehimiaghe

Rev. Mrs. Rosemary Ohio-Ehimiaghe is a seasoned educationist by background and profession. She had her BA (Ed) in English from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and MEd in Educational Administration from the University of Lagos. She retired from the Nigerian Airforce Secondary school as an English teacher and Educational Officer in 1995 after 13 years of service and went on to establish her own private school, OSTRA Schools, that same year. 24 years and counting, OSTRA Schools, starting from the Play group, Nursery, Primary and on to the College which is accredited for Cambridge exams, continues to provide a reputable state of the art learning centre for its pupils and students. .

She is an avid seeker of value-added knowledge with a keen interest in the area of women’s empowerment. She has attended many seminars and symposia as a speaker in this regard as well as in her area of expertise, educational administration. She has since become a trainer of trainers and has written several articles on her areas of interest and knowledge. In addition to her core educational passion, she also wears other hats. She is the CEO of OSTRA Halls and Hotels, the chairperson of SAROE Foundation (set up by her daughter, Dr. Mrs. Alo Ohio-Omonkhomion, in her hon our and that of her husband of blessed memory, Mr. Styne Ohio –Ehimiaghe), and an ordained minister of GOD.

She has in no small way helped many youths to discover their talents and live their dreams within and outside Nigeria. The Ijamido Children’s home (an orphanage in Ogun state) is also one of the beneficiaries of her desire to touch lives. Upon this woman's shoulder many have stood tall.

Mrs Diana James Dedume

Mrs. Dina Mawuli James-Dedume is a seasoned Ghanaian educationist, trained in Ghana and Nigeria. She is a member of National Association for the Education of young children (NAEYC). She attends Yearly Conference on early childhood development in the U.S.A Dina is a specialist with bias for Early Childhood Education, a facilitator and passionate trainer on Montessori Method of teaching and Early Childhood Education in Ostra Schools.

She is married to a lovely husband, James Dedume and they are blessed with two charming boys.

Her inspiration is drawn from Jesus Christ, the source of her life.

Dr. Mrs. Alo Ohio-Omonkhomion

Dr. Mrs. Alo Ohio-Omonkhomion is a Nigerian-bred UK-based Academic and Educational Consultant. She attended Queens College, Lagos (Nigeria), for her secondary school education, and Oxbridge Tutorial College, Lagos for her A-Levels before she left for the UK at the age of 15, to further her studies. She went on to complete her BSc in Economics from the University of Hull (UK) where she received a CIMA prize for her excellent academic performance. With a keen interest in Development Economics, she went on to study for her MSc in Economics and Development Economics from the University of Nottingham (UK) and her PhD in Development Studies from the University of Sussex (UK) which in March 2007 was ranked as number 1 in the world for Development Studies.
She is a trained Development Economist with keen research interests on Poverty, Urban Livelihoods and risk-coping strategies of the poor, Dr. Alo has worked as an Associate Tutor, a Research Assistant and as a Lecturer towards the end of her PhD and afterwards. Having had this full-circle and fulfilling academic experience of over 15 years, during which she was approached many times for academic and general lifestyle advice and guidance by parents with children studying in the UK, she decided to establish Brains and Butter in March 2016, as a dedicated platform to provide guardianship, academic support and mentoring to Nigerian students in the United Kingdom.⠀Dr. Alo Ohio-Omonkhomion is happily married with three Children.
