When OSTRA decided to step into the educational space 24 years ago, its major goal was to be at the forefront of providing quality education and impacting educators. Having done this with tremendous results over the years and with this goal still at the forefront of all that OSTRA schools stand for, OSTRA Consult was birthed to support schools, enlighten educators and position parents for the realities and expectations of the fast evolving trends in education. To achieve these objectives, continuous professional development is required and our facilitators, who have attended a wide range of local and international trainings, bring together their wealth of knowledge and experience to bear. Helping the participants understand the issues they face and working out their own solution, sets us apart.
Our services range from one day short courses to workshops and training sessions, OSTRA Consult offers a wide range of professional development topics that cut across the Early Years through to KS 3. Some of which include: Cooperative and Collaborative Learning, Flipped Classroom, Effective Strategies on Early Childhood Instruction, Teachers as Mentors, Effective Classroom Instruction and Management, Higher Order Thinking Skills. We can also design a customized professional development plan for your school, after a training-needs analysis has been done.
